Johnson Family: Babysitting Maverick

One of our former youth from Deer Park, TX got married this weekend in Nacogdoches. She married a Nacogdoches boy. Anyway, the wedding was here at his home church since their church meets in at a high school. Julie, our former youth, is such a precious young lady. We have been friends with her family for years. Her dad, BJ, was Rocky's youth minister growing up. Rocky surrendered to the ministry under BJ. They hold a special place in our hearts. Anyway, Julie's grandmother brought her dog, Maverick, with her and he could not stay at the hotel. Soooo, we "babysat" for her. My girls fel in love with him even though he was only with us two days. Parker did not want him to leave. Anna Beth is still skiddish of animals. I can't believe that she actually picked Maverick up and held him...but she did. Parker held him the entire time. She kept calling him "fabric" instead of Maverick.
